ROLL 014 — FLAGSTAFF IN BLACK

Flagstaff, Arizona.

The first time I saw the town in black and white.

Downtown sidewalks, benches, wet concrete, closed paths, parks, and people moving through weather I had missed.

The town looked different once the ground got wet.

I kept looking down because I missed this.

Everything felt quieter after the rain started.

People moved through it like weather was ordinary.

The streets kept holding small signs of use.

The town felt softer than I expected.
